Inspiration I made MindHaven because I noticed how often students, including myself, get stuck in cycles of stress and burnout. I wanted a space where people could take a real break and actually do something that helps them calm down, laugh, or refocus.

What it does MindHaven helps people manage emotions through small interactive tools. It has pages for burnout, anxiety, anger, and comfort, each with different features. You can pop bubble wrap, listen to calming music, use a soundboard, play stress relief games, or write out your anger and watch it “shred” away. It’s meant to help you reset and feel ready to keep going.

How we built it I built everything with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Every page has its own layout, animations, and features. I used JavaScript to handle all the interactivity like timers, draggable elements, and animations, and CSS to make each emotion page have its own color/atmosphere.

Challenges we ran into The hardest part was keeping everything working together. Since every page had its own features, positioning things without breaking the layout was hard.

Accomplishments that we're proud of I’m proud that MindHaven feels both peaceful and interactive. Each page looks different, and every tool serves a real purpose.

What we learned I learned how to plan out a full multi-page project and connect design with emotion. I also improved my JavaScript skills and got better at debugging and organizing large files

What's next for MindHaven I want to add personalized features, like suggestions based on your mood or time spent studying.
