Inspiration

Inspiration was from lots of things. First of all, GAMES - we all love games and with it we wanted to make learning more enjoyable and add an online competitive part to it.

What it does

MindClash is a real-time quiz duel platform where players:

• Challenge opponents 1v1 in subject-specific battles (math, science, history, etc.),
  
• Answer timed questions with scoring based on speed and accuracy,
  
• Climb leaderboards with skill-based rankings.
  

How we built it

• Frontend: React with WebSocket integration for live updates
  
• Backend: Django REST API
  
• Database: SQL for battle history and questions
  
• Design: Custom UI built with CSS animations for game-like feel
  
• Google VertexAI API
  

Challenges we ran into

• Connecting Frontend with Backend.
  
• Connecting to VertexAI API and communicating with it.
  

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• We made a fun platform to help students ease their struggles, and that should be a reason to be proud of.
  
• We had great teamwork and managed to tackle all the problems.
  

What we learned

• We improved our skills.
  
• Learned how to use AI API and get good use of it, which was fun.
  
• How to survive during a hackathon.
