Mental health challenges are often ignored or stigmatized, leaving many individuals without the support they need. MindCare was inspired by the need for a proactive solution that bridges the gap between individuals in need and mental health professionals. By leveraging AI and Deep Learning, we aim to detect potential concerns early and provide timely intervention, empowering users to take charge of their mental well-being.
What it does
MindCare uses AI-powered technologies to identify mental health concerns before they escalate. The app provides personalized solutions and accessible support by integrating features such as:
GenAI-driven chatbot for interactive assessments and recommendations. Biometric data analysis from fitness trackers. Facial expression recognition for real-time feedback. Gamified activities to encourage consistent engagement. Users receive personalized remedies, such as meditation or exercise suggestions, and are connected to mental health professionals for video consultations when needed.
How we built it
Technologies integrated: AI and Deep Learning for chatbot and facial expression recognition. Biometric data from fitness trackers for comprehensive assessments. FHIR format with RSA encryption for secure data storage. The initial development phase focused on building an Android/iOS app, connecting it to fitness trackers, and refining the chatbot for seamless user interaction. A network of mental health professionals was integrated to provide easy access to consultations.
Challenges we ran into
