Inspiration
It came from recognizing how difficult it can be for teenagers and young adults to track their mental health consistently. I wanted to build a simple solution that turns mental health tracking into a stress-free routine.
What it does
MindCare is a single-page web application to help users note their emotional states, manage stress levels, and track daily physical or mental symptoms. The interface allows users to select their current mood and stress levels. It then gives the user a visual timeline.
How we built it
The frontend user interface was made with HTML and CSS. Everything else was in python.
Challenges we ran into
I wanted to add external databases and user authentication, bu didn't have enough time. Instead, I simplifed it into a single-web page of python.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud of completing a working healthcare application entirely from scratch in a couple of hours.
What we learned
This hackathon taught me the value of keeping a project small and meaningful.
