MindBridge was built using React Native and Expo to enable rapid prototyping and seamless deployment across both iOS and Android, with React Navigation providing intuitive screen flows and Recoil managing app state efficiently. We styled our interfaces with Tailwind CSS (via the twrnc library) to ensure a clean, consistent design system, while our backend runs on Node.js and Express, handling user authentication through Firebase Auth and persisting mood logs and profiles in Firestore. The AI chat functionality relies on Deepseeks API, where custom prompt templates and safety filters help maintain an empathetic and secure conversational experience.
