Inspiration

We were inspired by each other, specifically our dedication to the project and computer science. In addition, we were inspired by the awesome presentations that were given on how to utilize Github, React to create websites/apps that can help solve world problems. We were especially loved the presentation on Big Idea Patient Safety Challenge by Mr.Ralph, where we learned about how computer science has revolutionized the healthcare industry.

What it does

We created a demo mood tracker for those on medication. Increasingly, in our society more people are on psychiatric prescription drugs, and we believe that it is important to record the negative/ or positive effects of medication on one's mental health. It asks two questions- your mood and energy. The key for the user is to do it everyday to see how taking medication influences both over time. This simple step can promote self-awareness and provide doctors with invaluable information on how their patient is doing every single day.

How we built it

We built our app using code.org by designing the interface and adding some simple code to make it function as a mock-up version of our vision.

Challenges we ran into

Originally, we tried to create a website/app but CSS styling was hard. Instead, we decided utilize the widget elements on code.org and create beautiful platform.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We finished it, and we submitted it! Yay.

What we learned

Hackathons are fun, amazing experience to bond w/friends and make new ones. Thank you so much for organizing this!
