Problem Statement 💭 With mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and stress increasing sharply among students in higher education—especially in rural and semi-urban areas—there is a huge gap in accessible, stigma-free, and culturally relevant psychological support. Most traditional counseling services are underutilized due to stigma, limited reach, and lack of regional language or context. This leaves students underserved and at risk.

Solution: Digital Mental Health Platform 🎯 Our project will build a web and mobile app that:

Provides AI-guided first-aid support so students can easily talk to a supportive, non-judgmental chatbot anytime they need help.

Offers a confidential booking system for connecting directly with counselors or mental health helplines.

Delivers a psychoeducational resource hub with videos, wellness guides, and self-help tools in regional languages.

Creates a moderated peer support platform where trained student volunteers offer empathy and guidance.

Equips administrators with an anonymous analytics dashboard to recognize campus-wide trends and tailor interventions.

This solution aims to break stigma, increase access, and enable early detection of mental health challenges among students at scale—all in a culturally relevant, cost-effective way.
