Brainhack 2024
Inspiration
An indispensable and essential life skill, productivity should be made easily accessible to the general public for the betterment of our livelihood and empowerment of our mindspaces.
What it does
Provides an interactive, immersive and boundless experience for learners to learn how to learn and better their learning abilities and methods.
How we built it
Using Metaquest 3 and Unity, we build up a prototype of the environment we envisioned our idea to look like.
Challenges we ran into
The prototyped environment was not close enough to our expectations because of restrictions on time and our buttons did not work out.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Being able to introspect the problem and ideate to come up with something that has seemingly minute impacts but could possibly penetrate and seep into many more lives to create a huge impact on our world.
What we learned
The importance of time management as well as to prioritise our stakeholders' pain point in ideation, so that the innovation developed is more than a product but a lifestyle solution.
What's next for Mind Palace
There is definitely a lot of space and potential for expansion, especially in allowing players to have more co-creation opportunities to take greater ownership in their learning. We seek to introduce more themes with expert inputs to create a virtual world of the player's own preferences to have them not only learn well but own it.
