Inspiration
We wanted to create a tool that helps people keep track of their mood and their mental health.
What it does
Mind Monitor allows users to log their daily mood scores and notes, providing a simple and intuitive interface to track their emotional health. The app visualizes this data through interactive charts, helping users identify patterns and trends in their mood over time.
How we built it
We used Next.JS and Supabase as well as Tailwind CSS for styling... We used Chart.js, which is a good tool for visualizing our data.
Challenges we ran into
We had a lot of trouble implementing the authentication part. We did not get to implement this. Also, we had trouble implementing the database portion of Supabase as well. We also had to get used to working with each other with GitHub.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Creating a blueprint for something that we could work on further to address a need in the mental health space.
What we learned
We got a lot more comfortable with GitHub. We also got a lot more comfortable with technologies such as Next and Supabase as well as React. We also learned how important it is to have a clear idea from the start in terms of your design process.
What's next for Mind Monitor
We plan to add more features such as a personalized insights and recommendations based on mood data. Reminders and integration with other apps is also on our mind.
