In a technology centric world, how can we combat the mental health issues created by technology with more technology?

What it does

We aim to make people more away of their own mental health. In this busy world, people are usually too distracted to be aware of how their behaviours can affect their own mental health. Think about how many times you've felt upset and cranky, only to feel so much better after a hearty meal. We aim to provide a compassionate space with AI where one can stop and evaluate ones own mind before they spiral off overwhelmed by emotions.

What we learned

There are so many resources out there for mental health yet most go unutilised, especially by those who need it the most. We hope to combat this issue with our app. The most common reason for neglecting mental health is a lack of time and convenience. Our app has been designed to be customisable to how busy the user is and streamline everything into one simple quiz, to be replaced by health data APIs in the future like the Apple Health API.

What's next for Mind Mirror

We aim to utilise more Apis such as Apple Health in order to provide a more accurate and personalised assessment.
