Inspiration--Alexa can do voice recognition and be able to respond to commands, and we thought why not use it for patients who are suffering from Alzheimer.
What it does-- Give patients reminders for their daily routines; Medication administration, Bathing/Showering, Brushing teeth, and Exercise.
How we built it-- Programming and testing out the product.
Challenges we ran into-- Borrowed computer kept Restarting, not understanding the coding in the beginning of the process.
Accomplishments that we're proud of-- Able to understand the concept of our use for the project.
What we learned-- Coding behind Alexa.
What's next for Mind Aide-- Try to integrate Alexa to work with other common patients who are in care of an assistance nurse.
