MIMORY

Your people. Your moments. Your world. ♡

What if we don't have a memory problem — we have a remembering problem?

MIMORY turns the moments you share with the people who matter into little worlds you can revisit.

Inspiration

We all have people who become part of our story.

Not just through the big moments, but through hundreds of tiny ones we barely notice while they're happening.

A photograph from a trip.

A ridiculous inside joke.

A birthday celebration.

A random evening that meant nothing at the time — until years later, when it means everything.

We keep these moments everywhere.

In camera rolls.
In old chats.
In screenshots.
In forgotten folders.

We are surrounded by memories, yet somehow, we can still lose touch with the feeling behind them.

The idea for MIMORY began with a story a friend once shared with me.

There was a couple who had spent around eight years together.

Eight years is a long time to build a story with someone.

There were trips they had taken, places they had been, celebrations they had shared, silly photographs, ordinary days, private jokes, and countless little moments that had quietly become theirs.

Then they entered a difficult chapter.

A disagreement became distance.

And, as sometimes happens in difficult moments, the present began to feel bigger than the past.

The years of memories were still there.

But emotionally, they felt far away.

Then, during one of their conversations, they started going through their old photographs.

They weren't looking for an answer.

They were just remembering.

One photograph became another.

A trip.

A celebration.

A silly picture.

An ordinary day.

A moment they had almost forgotten.

And something changed.

For a little while, the difficult moment wasn't the whole story anymore.

There was a much bigger story sitting behind it.

Eight years of laughter.

Eight years of places.

Eight years of ordinary and extraordinary moments.

Eight years of being there for each other.

The photographs hadn't changed what happened.

They simply made the rest of the story visible again.

That stayed with me.

Because it made me realize something:

Maybe we don't have a memory problem.

Maybe we have a remembering problem.

Technology has become incredibly good at storing our lives.

Our phones can hold thousands of photographs.

Our chats can preserve years of conversations.

Our storage can keep almost everything.

But storing a memory and returning to it are two very different things.

A camera roll gives you a grid.

A chat gives you a timeline.

A folder gives you files.

But none of them gives you the feeling of walking back into a moment that mattered.

So I started asking:

What if memories weren't just things we stored, but places we could return to?

What if a photograph could become a little landmark?

What if a collection of moments could become a world?

What if the people who matter to us could have a world that slowly grows with every memory we add?

And most importantly:

What if, instead of scrolling through our memories, we could walk through them?

That question became MIMORY.

MIMORY isn't meant to replace real relationships.

It isn't meant to judge them, score them, or tell us how we should feel.

It simply gives the memories that already matter somewhere to live.

A place to revisit.

A place to explore.

A place where one difficult moment doesn't have to become the entire story.

Because sometimes, we don't need another notification telling us what to do.

We just need a little reminder of what we've shared.

What it does

MIMORY transforms shared memories into a living, explorable storybook world.

You begin by creating a world around someone important to you:

  • Best friends
  • Partners
  • Parents & family
  • People who matter to you

Then you add the moments that make that relationship yours:

Photos · Stories · Places · Milestones · Inside jokes · Voice memories

Instead of becoming another item in a feed, those moments become part of the world itself.

A moment you save What it becomes
📷 Photograph A framed keepsake
🗺️ Trip A landmark in the world
🎉 Milestone A meaningful world element
💬 Story A storybook memory
🎙️ Voice memory A keepsake to revisit
❤️ Meaningful moment A place worth discovering

As memories accumulate, the world grows with them.

Memory Walk

The heart of MIMORY is Memory Walk.

Instead of scrolling through a conventional timeline, you enter your world and physically explore it.

Walk along its paths.

Discover memory landmarks.

Find photographs embedded into the environment.

Explore tiny storybook details.

Follow signs.

Encounter animals and small discoveries.

And when you find a memory you want to revisit, you choose to visit it.

You don't just look at a memory.

You walk toward it.

That is the interaction at the heart of MIMORY.

A world that feels personal

MIMORY is designed to feel less like a dashboard and more like a little world that belongs to you.

Soft landscapes.

Personal characters.

Storybook environments.

Memory landmarks.

Scrapbook-style keepsakes.

Small discoveries.

Gentle movement.

The visual world isn't simply decoration.

The world is the interface.

What MIMORY deliberately avoids

MIMORY is not designed to turn relationships into a game.

  • No relationship scores
  • No streaks
  • No guilt mechanics
  • No relationship-health diagnosis
  • No algorithm telling you how you should feel

MIMORY doesn't judge the relationship.

It simply gives your memories somewhere beautiful to live.

The emotional loop

The experience is built around a simple loop:

Remember
   ↓
Revisit
   ↓
Feel
   ↓
Remember what matters
