Inspiration The Mistral AI x Alan Healthcare Hackathon served as the driving force behind this project, with its emphasis on harnessing AI to enhance healthcare. The structure and resources offered by the challenge significantly shaped our approach and execution.

What It Does Milan is a multimodal AI healthcare assistant designed to provide personalized health guidance. It interacts using voice, text, and facial expressions, integrating seamlessly with patient data to deliver comprehensive, tailored support.

How We Built It We utilized the Mistral AI API and other resources provided by the hackathon, including tools like Hugging Face and Nebius, to develop Milan’s natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision capabilities. The tech stack featured Python and various cloud services for backend infrastructure.

Challenges One of the main challenges was securely and efficiently integrating diverse data sources within the limited timeframe of the hackathon, ensuring both functionality and compliance.

Accomplishments We successfully developed a functional prototype that showcases multimodal interaction, data integration, and delivers personalized health recommendations.
