In Karnataka, thousands of migrant workers contribute to the state's growth, yet they often remain in the dark about their basic legal rights. Government circulars—the very documents that define their minimum wages, election holidays, and safety standards—are often buried in complex web portals as PDFs. To make matters harder, these documents are frequently scanned images of signed papers or written in a language the worker might not speak.
I was inspired to build a bridge between this complex legal vault and the vulnerable worker. I wanted to create a system where a worker could ask a question in their mother tongue and get an immediate, accurate answer based on verified government data.
