Matching Youth to their Spark

Inspiration

We were inspired by the Usher New Level Foundation. There is youth that needs guidance to be the best that they can be.

What it does

Our model will be interactive for youth to learn more about themselves and figure out a career that best fits them

How we built it

We created workflow between Unity and AWS services (Lambda, Bedrock, Polly, S3) using an API Gateway

Challenges we ran into

Connecting VR headset, using Unity, and AWS for first time

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of being able to connect the Gen AI in AWS to Unity. It took a long time

What we learned

We gained experience with AWS services and Gen AI in general

What's next for Matching Youth to their Spark

This project could be improved by adding more career simulations, and connecting the conversational AI to the simulation. It can also be improved by having more speech and audio interactions for the model.
