Midwives On Track

Inspiration

Being a parent the initial idea was to help patients with doctor visits and specially when is an emergency situation, but after the discussions with the sponsors I realized that for this hackaton my idea will be a good fit for Midwives. Also by having experience in navigation, traffic and routing I see the benefits of how this services can help the people to improve their daily life.

What it does

1. Reduce the unpaid time.

2. Midwives can optimize theirs visits planning.

3. Reduce the dropping of Appointments.

Improvements

1. Effort estimation based on the history. Put in the schedule plan Buffer

2. Real time travel time update according to current traffic

3. Schedule Break time

4. Add other types of appointment. E.g. personal or bureaucratic appointment

5. Send notification to the next patient in case of time changes (delay)

6. Elektronisches Fahrtenbuch fürs Finanzamt: Abrechnungssystem optimieren

7. Automatic invoice creation based on visits registered in the system

8. Reporting

9. Clients needs prediction

What's next for Midwives On Track

Our objective is to make it somehow to become a complete product, maybe with features that are covering also other areas. In this moment are required:

• better test coverage
• devops for CD
• tests for GUI
• better code design following the DDD principles
• nicer design for GUI
• administration web interface
• etc.
