About 22 billion pounds of food is wasted by restaurants annually. Midnight Meals allows users to pick up leftover meals from restaurants in their area before midnight to ensure the food’s freshness.

Billions of pounds of food is thrown away by restaurants in the United States every year. Food waste contributes to the proliferation of greenhouse gases and food insecurity. The aim of this mobile application is to tackle this issue at a community level. Midnight Meals allows users to pick up leftover food items from restaurants in their local area.
