Inspiration
Microsoft recently released the BOT framework, allowing to build BOTS and simply select the connectors (skype, chat, slack, SMS, ...) to interact with these.
At the same time, a bunch of interesting cloud services bundled under the name Cognitive Services have been made available. These services offer functionality in several domains (vision, speech, language, knowledge and search).
Combining both allows to add real intelligence to BOTs.
