We wanted to be able to see tiny animals and explore small areas and have users take a closer look at their own spaces.
The app spawns tiny biomes around your room on various surfaces filled with plants and animals you can use a magnifying glass to view them up close.
There are 28 different animals and 71 different environments!
We used unreal engine 5.3 and the meta presence platform features to build the app.
We ran into some issues getting the Unreal Engine PCG framework to function on the headset, but eventually just baked them down and that worked fine.
We were able to pack a lot of content into this app for just a few days (and late nights) worth of work.
Hopefully in the future we can expand this concept a bit.
