Inspiration

We were inspired by various famous video games such as Mario and Sonic

What it does

It is a light hearten, yet challenging, video game with a Michigan Tech theme

How I built it

We used the Unity Engine along with various custom and imported visual assets.

Challenges I ran into

We ran into issues early on when we were trying to use Unreal rather than Unity. We also ran into various other issues with the UI and game logic that we were able to work through.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The whole project. Being able to have this much of a completed game is great for this given time frame.

What I learned

We learned a lot about Unity as a team and how to work within its 2D environment.

What's next for Michigan Tech Student Simulator

Redoing some of the assets, as some of them were last minute additions. Also adding more levels and abilities for Blizzard to utilize.
