Inspiration

Being stuck in a building for 15+ hours really made us understand what real entertainment is-- karaoke and competition with friends! What better way to spice up the afternoon than karaoke? Not only is it fun, but you get to show off your fabulous singing skills :)

What it does

Mic Drop Madness is a game where an AI judges everyone's singing and sees who sings closest to the original piece. The higher your score, the more you can brag!

How we built it

We used Python and Pygame, as well as AI libraries and other libraries. Backgrounds were drawn on Ibis Paint X and imported into Pygame.

Challenges we ran into

Combining everyone's work into a one final product presented some issues but was resolved through communication.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The GUI looks stellar, and we got the AI functioning which was a big concern throughout development.

What we learned

We learned time management, collaboration, pygame, and how to use AI in a new way.

What's next for Mic Drop Madness

Refining GUI, improving AI feedback, more functionality, and adding new features such as more songs.
