🚀 Inspiration
As a student preparing for competitive exams, I realized that most MHT CET Law aspirants struggle to find structured, reliable, and affordable preparation resources in one place. Students often depend on scattered Telegram groups, PDFs, and random YouTube videos. I wanted to build a centralized digital platform that simplifies preparation for both 3-Year and 5-Year LLB aspirants — something clean, organized, and student-focused. That idea led to the creation of MHT CET Law Portal.
💡 What it does
MHT CET Law Portal is a web-based preparation platform designed specifically for Maharashtra law entrance aspirants. It provides: 📚 Structured Study Modules 📝 Practice Tests & Mock Exams 📄 Previous Year Question Papers 📊 Weekly Test Series 🎯 Important & Guess Questions 🎥 Video Lecture Access 📢 Announcements & Updates The goal is to give students a single dashboard where they can prepare, practice, and track their progress efficiently.
🛠 How I built it
🌐 Built using Frontend : HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Backend : Google Firebase console , google auth and firestore database Designed a responsive and clean UI for easy navigation Hosted the platform using Netlify for fast deployment Structured the content into modular sections (Tests, Notes, Papers, etc.) Integrated external resources and structured course access The focus was on creating a lightweight, fast-loading, and mobile-friendly platform since most students access it through their phones.
⚡ Challenges I ran into
Organizing large amounts of exam content into a clean structure Designing a simple but professional UI without overwhelming users Ensuring mobile responsiveness across devices Managing structured navigation between multiple preparation sections Balancing functionality with simplicity was one of the biggest challenges.
🏆 Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Successfully launched a live, accessible platform Created a centralized preparation hub instead of scattered resources Designed a clean and student-friendly dashboard Built it independently from idea to deployment Seeing students actually use the portal for preparation is the biggest achievement.
📚 What I learned
Practical frontend development and UI structuring Hosting and deployment using Netlify Content architecture and user flow design The importance of user-centric design How to turn a simple idea into a real working product This project strengthened both my technical and product-thinking skills.
🔮 What's next for MHT CET LAW PORTAL
Future improvements include: 🔐 User authentication system 📊 Performance tracking dashboard 🧠 AI-based mock test analysis ☁️ Cloud database integration 📱 Progressive Web App (PWA) support 🎯 Personalized study plans The long-term goal is to make it the most reliable digital companion for MHT CET Law aspirants.
