Inspiration
Every year, thousands of seniors face a difficult decision about where to start the next chapter of their life. Calculated College Counselor was established to help these students that already have enough on their plate make an easy decision on what college to go to.
What it does
Calculated College Counselor uses many factors such as tuition, climate, area of living, acceptance rate, etc. to match a student with their perfect college out of the top 100 colleges in the U.S.
How we built it
We built Calculated College Counselor using one of the world's most popular coding languages, Python.
Challenges we ran into
In the process of building Calculated College Counselor, we faced many challenges such as deciding what colleges to implement in the system and we had coding issues as well such as struggling to use pip.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the way our product turned out in a single day and how we are going to be able to help countless students succeed.
What we learned
We learned that attention to detail and teamwork is extremely important and can lead to success.
