Inspiration
I work in industrial automation mainly computer vision and industrial scales. The price of cameras, sensors have gone down and computing power has gone up. Yet the prices of vision systems still remain high. It mostly has to do with sensor quality and close software.
What it does
It maps the volume on the shelf through 6 ultrasonic sensors and identifies SKUs by color.
How I built it
blood and sweat
Challenges I ran into
Not enough time, microprocessors died, mounting issues
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I got it wired in time
What I learned
Planning is important, testing out
What's next for mEYEly
Figure out if cost will scale.
Built With
- 32-bit-processor
