Inspiration

We were inspired by Google Weather which displays weather stats when you search up your city name.

Displays weather statistics for cities, current locations, and areas specified by latitude and longitude.

We used HTML, CSS, JS, and OpenWeatherMap API.

Reading the API data.

We successfully read data from the API and displayed it on the site.

How to read API data and parse JSON objects using Javascript.

I worked on mentoring the rest of the team and also learning how to effectively use Media queries for responsive design and reading JSON data from an API response.

I worked on media queries and form input handling. As well, I learned a lot more HTML and CSS.

Throughout these two days I contributed by selecting the Font Selection and Colour Palette. I believe this is an important element when it comes to creating a website as it shows attractiveness so users can enjoy easily reading the daily weather. Also, I learned the new language HTML while coding. This was quite interesting and I am glad to have learned something new!

I worked on the CSS design, which is a language I learned a week ago, along with HTML. I also helped with the demo video. This project helped me develop my web development skills a lot.
