Inspiration

Urban areas create a lot of important information every day. This includes traffic jams, power outages, flooding and public events. However, this information is spread out across various sources, like maps, social media and citizen reports. As a result, updates often reach people too late and are hard to understand.

What it does

MetroMindz is a city assistant powered by AI, created to tackle this problem. The solution consists of a multi-layer system where each agent focuses on a specific urban issue, such as traffic, power, flooding or safety. Rather than relying on one general model- MetroMindz uses specialized AI agents. Each agent is trained on trustworthy data from sources like public APIs, citizen reports and verified government feeds.

How we built it

We collect data from traffic apps, social media, and citizen reports. AI processes this data: Gemini summarizes updates and chats with users. Vision AI analyzes photos and videos. Simple models predict traffic or power issues. After cleaning and verifying the data, we store it in Firebase and display it on a live Mapbox map. Users can easily access this through a mobile-friendly interface that includes a map view and AI chat support.
