Inspiration

Studying Health is very expensive. This high cost is because medical college requires buying equipment and practicum materials which are quite expensive. It is conceivable for only 1 lab to have at least a cadaver or corpse for anatomy lessons. In addition, you have to buy equipment for dissecting corpses, basic biological equipment, biochemistry, and so on. All of this equipment and materials are certainly inseparable from the cost of maintenance which is getting a year and often used will decrease. Of course, after the condition is not good, the university needs to buy again. From this problem, we try to solve it with a learning platform that can reduce the cost but also does not abandon the essentials of learning.

What does it do?

Metaversitas Healthcare functions as a forum for collaboration as well as interactive learning media to learn many things in the medical world. In Metaversitas Healthcare, medical students, doctors, or users who want to study medicine can explore the metaverse to see the visualization of organs to visualization of how the organs work. By using Metaversitas Healthcare, you are able to reduce costs and time in conducting practicums because of the ease of access. In this metaverse, you can access using a laptop, computer, or virtual reality device that you have such as Occulus Quest to improve the experience in enjoying Metaverse. Once you've browsed through the contents of this metaverse you can do a test to test how far you've learned in the metaverse.

How we build it

We built this metaverse using unity software and a 3D blender for animation

Challenges we face

The challenge we experienced was in creating Health 3D objects because every 3D object had to be true to the original. Therefore some of our objects are downloaded on the internet. In addition, in working on this project, we did not meet due to the distance that separated us so that for several times there was a miscommunication.

It is a proud achievement for us to be able to finish making Metaversitas Healthcare which is our contribution to the world of health

We learned many things such as team management, discussion of user needs, and more about metaverse

What's next for Metaversitas Healthcare

In the future, we will develop Metaversitas Healthcare to be more interactive, more collaborative, and more decentralized. We will add more rooms that can be visited and grouped into several groups such as a special room for studying anatomy, a special room for studying bacteria, a forensic room, a special room for studying human development, or other rooms. In addition, there is also a quiz in the room and each user can compete in the quiz which will be recorded on the leaderboard. And the top leaderboard will get NFT prizes, Cryptocurrency, or other digital items
