Inspiration

As we started our journey a few months back, we noticed a few people asking what would happen after the event was completed? Where would the winners information and projects be posted. So it got us thinking of a way that we could connect and grow the Miami Buildathon community. Since not all of the builders are located in Miami this space will still bring everyone together from across the world.

What it does

This is a virtual space that will allow the Miami Buildathon community, to continue to stay connected after the event is completed and introduce new potential builders for future buildathons.

How we built it

The space was built using the Spatial builder along with Sketchfab and Blender to create some of the assets.

Challenges we ran into

Making sure the scene is still optimized after all the additions to it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It's amazing that we were able to create this build in such a short time.

What's next for Spatial.io Metaverse Build for Miami NFT Buildathon

Would love to take the build into Unity and add a few extra features such as AI voices for the robots in the space. Creating a quest that would take someone through a tour of the space, and awarding them a badge. Updating the winners information. Throw virtual meetups, at least once a month, to continue to make the community stronger.
