Metamorphosis

Inspiration

To me, metamorphosis is loss, you always lose something through change. But while it's sad , I think because we have the ability to remember and reminisce vividly, thinking back to loss can be "nostalgic". I wanted to inspire that mixed feeling through music. Sonically, I took a lot of inspiration from my own memories in early 2000's japanese dance music to inspire these feelings for myself, and hopefully to other people.

How we built it

I used logic pro x and made all the parts by scratch.

Challenges we ran into

At first I was gonig to make a walking simulator/game experience with unity, and the music was the accompaniment, but due to time I had to throw the main idea out and continue with the secondary idea.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I think at least aesthetically, I managed to create something that reminded myself of a younger time.
