Metaic

Inspiration: We were inspired by masks, so we want to do something similar for the Internet Computer ecosystem's users.

What it does: The Mask plugin makes it easier for more blockchain enthusiasts to navigate between Web2 and Web3, which is a very meaningful endeavor. If there could be such a plugin on the Internet Computer, we believe that more crypto enthusiasts would join in.

How we built it: Metaic is the convergence point of the future of social media and decentralized ecosystems. We offer ecosystem users a one-stop Web2 experience while seamlessly traversing the Web3 through plugins. Metaic's core features include：

Challenges we ran into: 1） Due to the underlying logic of the Internet Computer, we often encounter challenges during the development process, such as implementing a certain feature only to quickly trigger other bugs. However, we will overcome them in the end.

2）Due to a lack of funds, we are staunch supporters of ICP, and each one of us bought a significant amount of ICP very early on. We are doing this out of our love for ICP. However, due to the price fluctuations of ICP, our development budget is quite tight.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: Our 1.0 version will be launched in the near future.

What we learned: In order to see change, one must become the change itself. Internet Computer is great, there's no doubt about it. Although its price performance may not be great at the moment, every one of us who believes in it should join and together, we can bring about change.

What's next for Metaic: Launching version 1.0, there is an urgent need to accelerate development on the technical side. On the operational front, we will collaborate with more high-quality projects and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to introduce this excellent tool to a wider audience.
