Originally we intended for this to be multiplayer. We wanted to showcase Meta in a way that was unique to the AR space, that is - a game or experience that couldn't be replicated in other VR or traditional game environments. The original concept was to have individuals be able to target each other and have multiple abilities depending on the gestures they took. Ways we would detect other players include LEDs, markers, and other detection methods. Unfortunately, the Meta device itself did not have any awareness of other users built in.

The concept took longer than expected, so we had to scale back for single player against targets in the AR space. The way we've built the code is set up in a way that we can add new features and multiplayer functionality if we chose to devote more time. There is a server with high scores. The aim here is to show the basis of our original idea, which we could quickly extend to if we devoted more time to.
