Inspiration

Imagine you could send yourself a message 5 years ago, what would you tell them? Well you can’t send a message to the past, but we can help you send a message to your future.

We are inspired by the idea of 'being there for yourself & the idea of a time capsule.

What it does

Craft a message to yourself, let us know how often you would like to this receive message from yourself & we will send it to you.

How we built it

Html, CSS, JavaScript, Firebase, nodemail

Challenges we ran into

We had trouble fixing and getting the email servers to work seamlessly for a while, but we solved it after a couple of hours of trouble shooting.

We also had to learn how to make queries to the firebase database to get our data and display it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of being able to execute the concept in such a short term & being able to provide an interesting social experience for our users.

What we learned

We learned how to sprint & deploy something up in less than a day. Connecting our firebase to our frontend website.

What's next for Message From Me

We will be refining the service and user flow a bit more before opening up this experience for the public to try it out! We will also continue developing and updating the project, if the response is good:)
