MERN Stack Job Portal System

Inspiration

The inspiration behind this project was to simplify the recruitment process by creating a centralized platform where job seekers and employers can interact efficiently. Many existing platforms are complex or lack transparency, so this project aims to provide a clean and user-friendly solution.

What it does

The MERN Stack Job Portal System allows users to register as job seekers or recruiters. Job seekers can browse jobs, apply, and track applications, while recruiters can post jobs and manage candidates.

How we built it

The application was developed using the MERN stack:

• MongoDB for database
• Express.js and Node.js for backend APIs
• React.js for frontend UI

REST APIs were used to connect frontend and backend, and authentication was implemented for secure access.
