Inspiration

This is a Cloud edition for the Menu Gadget for Jira

What it does

The goal of this app is to allow Jira users to discover and access relevant links and reports with less clutter and proper categorization.

Currently, it has 2 types of Jira gadgets

• Filter Menu Gadget - Organise related filters to display what is needed in your dashboards
  • Adding alias to your filters to make it user friendly. Filter names tend to be lengthy to be self descriptive and differentiating
  • An alternative for Favorite Filters Gadget  
• Links Menu Gadget - Organise related links in your project dashboards
  • Add alias and description to hyperlinks
  • Add labels (for categorisation) to hyperlinks

How we built it

• We used the Atlassian Forge framework to build it. This is only possible with the Forge dashboard module. Thanks for Forge, there is no need to set up or maintain the infrastructure. All the code and data are hosted/stored on Atlassian infrastructure.

What's next for Menu Gadget for Jira Cloud

• Support JQL - To support user specified JQLs instead of choosing from existing filters only.
