Inspiration
We want to make the mentor resources more accessible for students from a different background.
What it does
Provide an online group chatting platform for mentor and mentee.
How I built it
We used html/css/bootstrap for our frontend and we used MongoDB and javascript/meteor.js as our backend.
Challenges I ran into
We have a problem with creating different chatrooms for our website.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We have one chatroom that functions well.
What I learned
We learned how to use meteor.js for both the server side and the client side. We also learned how to use bootstrap to design our UI.
What's next for MENTORme
We want to make filtering for the chatroom so that mentor and mentee can easily find a chatroom of their interest.
