MentorMatch

Inspiration

Despite the increasing number of women pursuing careers in technology, many still face significant barriers in finding relatable mentors who understand their unique challenges and experiences. We wanted to create a platform that bridges this gap, making it easier for mentees to find mentors who match their skills and interests.

What it does

MentorMatch is a platform for women in tech to connect. Mentees can sign up by filling in the form and getting a match that best suits them. From the match results they can get information about their potential mentor and contact them. Mentors signup by filling up the mentor form which can then be added to the data for mentors.

Challenges ran into was adding the mentor information to the file.

The matching algorithm effectively pairs mentees with suitable mentors based on their profiles, enhancing the likelihood of productive mentorship relationships.
