Mentorly was born from a simple but pressing gap: finding the right mentor or tutor nearby is unnecessarily hard. The idea was to build an easy-to-use mobile app that lets anyone find credible, local mentors for any subject, skill, or tool and for people with knowledge to share it directly and earn from it.

The goal: make mentorship accessible, personal, and local, not lost in global directories or unvetted forums.

The inspiration came from my own experience and stories from peers of wasting weeks searching for someone trustworthy to teach a specific topic. Online courses solve part of it, but when you need local context, flexible hours, or real-time interaction, you need an actual human near you.
