MentorFlow is an AI-powered teaching intelligence platform built for tutors, mentors, parents, older siblings, and after-school educators. Instead of replacing teachers with AI, MentorFlow uses DigitalOcean AI (Gradient AI) to help educators become better teachers through personalized lesson planning, learner memory, teaching insights, and continuous reflection.

Inspiration

Students already have access to countless AI tools.

They have ChatGPT, Khan Academy, online videos, and educational platforms.

But we realized something was missing.

Who supports the person doing the teaching?

Professional tutors, volunteer mentors, older siblings, parents helping with homework, and after-school educators are some of the most important people in a learner's educational journey. Yet they often prepare lessons manually, rely on memory between sessions, juggle work and school schedules, and lose valuable teaching insights after every lesson.

We wanted to build an AI platform that strengthens human teaching instead of replacing it.
