Inspiration
Recognizing the growing importance of mental health and the lack of easily accessible tools to monitor psychological well-being. With increasing stress in everyday life, many people struggle to manage their emotions or mental wellness effectively. We wanted to create something simple yet impactful—an application that allows users to reflect on their mental health and get valuable feedback in real time, encouraging positive habits for well-being.
What it does
The Mental Wellness Application tracks psychological health by prompting users to input daily reflections, moods, and stress levels. It analyzes this data and provide personalized insights. Additionally, it offers useful anecdotes, motivational quotes, and suggestions for coping mechanisms.
How we built it
We developed the web app using: Frontend: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for an intuitive, user-friendly interface. Backend: Node.js to handle data processing, and user data storage. Database: A lightweight database like Firebase to store user logs and analyze long-term patterns. APIs: We integrated supabase APIs to interpret user inputs and provide feedback.
Challenges we ran into
We worked hard to anonymize user data while still delivering meaningful insights...
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Integrating mental wellness features like mindfulness tips and motivational quotes helps promote healthier habits in users...
What we learned
We learned a lot about mental health metrics and how to convert qualitative data (like user feelings and reflections) into actionable insights.
What's next for Mental Wellness Application
More personalization, More animation and more interactivity. More security.
