Inspiration

Recent advancements in AI infrastructure, Agents, Blockchain primitives inspired us to use decentralization and AI Agents to help further empower educators and improve our world.

What It Does

MWA is an open-source learning management system that empowers educators to create customized online learning environments with AI Agents & Blockchain rewards.

How We Built It

We dove deep on research in r/professors and diagnosed some of the main pain-points of competitor LMS providers; Blackboard, Moodle, Canva. We then reverse engineered the problems into a design more suited for the future of online education. 70% of our time went into designing custom skills and prompt engineering. After fine-tuning our machines for the solution, we integrated: Next.js, Typescript, Three.js, DAG-Graphs, and RAG-model AI and stacked it on top of Base's Layer 2 Blockchain for the reward system.

The Main Challenge We Ran Into

Most Free knowledge is organized for retrieval, not for recursive understanding. We can search for a psychology experiment is on YouTube in 30 seconds. But actually learning the foundation of why it works it without a class? That's a week of figuring out what to read first.

We needed a way for learning to begin at different stages, and correctly readjust it's level.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud that we were able to create an AI mascot without being "cringe" Blue actually has reward mechanisms to reward engagement on the platform, and we did this with the DAG system and "level-setting" in our templated learning progress to requires nodes and graphs of relevant topics to be unlocked, earned, or redirected towards goals.

Also was really cool implementing the points because it made saving the social aspect of online education so much more fun. Many students complain about lack of collaboration.

What We Learned

Most "free" knowledge online is organized for retrieval, and that comes with a tax on our time and mental energy. That energy is almost always lost inside digital classrooms that lack expressive design, and the psychology behind clear goal-settings. Communal systems create a digital ecosystem, which = more trust, more expression, and more joy in learning.

What's Next For Mental Wealth Academy?

Mental Wealth Academy can make quality education easier to access, navigate, and trust. We just need more help getting attention on this design to the right people, which is important. The next generation is already wired into digital habits and systems that are founded on streamers, gamified rewards, and continually updated platforms.

Next up is pushing the needle forward on worldwide quality education, by offering our product to workshops, lecturers, academias, and college institutions.
