Inspiration

My inspiration for the idea of V.I.S.T.A. simply came from my own forgetfulness sometimes. Managing workloads and stress has made it hard for me to keep up with inputting my availability on my calendars and oftentimes I have to call off a hangout or miss replying to an email. This struggle although seems insignificant and easy to fix, is tedious to do so. This decision fatigue ultimately led me to the idea of automation with the fastest way being AI. Hence, I bring to you V.I.S.T.A. (Virtual Intelligent Scheduling Task Assistant).

Through V.I.S.T.A., I wanted to offer an assistant that automates daily planning and scheduling, one that thinks for you based on its algorithms that prioritizes and molds a schedule best fit for you.

What it does

V.I.S.T.A. is an AI-powered productivity assistant that automates daily task management and scheduling, meant to ease the user's shoulders from the daily manual input. V.I.S.T.A. analyzes the user's tasks, priorities, and availability to offer the best possible schedule for the user.

How we could build it

Since this idea involves AI, a method that can be utilized to implement V.I.S.T.A. would involve natural-language-processing, intelligent scheduling algorithms, and real-time task synchronization. Furthermore, breaking it down into chunks, the frontend of this AI would consist of React.js for an interactive dashboard, the backend would most utilize Django for handling API requests and scheduling logic of AI, the AI would most likely come from the OpenAI API to understand user input from natural language, the other APIs would garner info from calendars or emails so a Google Calendar API and Email API would be the best fit, and database would use PostgreSQL for storing all the data related to the user.

What's next for V.I.S.T.A.

Replicating it to life. With your help investors, I would gather a team of developers to support me in the process of bringing V.I.S.T.A. to reality.
