The more we are confined within our homes, the more we are at risk of developing mental illnesses, this not only endangers the person himself/herself but the people around them too.

What it does

Machine learning based assessment for predicting the need of mental health help leveraging IBM LinuxOne.

Predicts need for mental health e-consultation with a doctor by asking a mix of general purpose and specific questions.

How we built it

Jupyter Notebook on LinuxOne powered by IBM's powerful servers.

Challenges we ran into

Setting up the development environment on the server and finding the right dataset.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finally put something out there. We could have performed a lot better if we had some more time, but learning never stops! Looking forward to explore IBMz and LinuxOne deeply.

What's next for Mental Health: Beyond Cliché (ML Based Assessment for Mental Illness Detection)

Collaborating with survey companies, finding/collecting more datasets. Improving the accuracy by making the prediction model better.
