Inspiration
We were inspired to create this mental well-being app when we realized how often mental health is overlooked in our busy lives. We saw people around us, including us, struggling with stress and anxiety. We wanted to create a tool that makes mental health care accessible and stigma-free, providing a safe space for everyone to nurture their mental well-being.
What it does
It provides information about mental illness and how to treat it!
How we built it
We built this app using Code.org and coded our app using Code.org
Challenges we ran into
Challenges that we faced were making a personalized tracker for anyone in any country.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were proud that our project can go back and forth to different pages and he code works.
What we learned
We learned how to work and collaborate as a group, so that our project is helpful and provides useful information. The Hackathon helped us realize the importance of coding and teamwork as well. While practicing our coding skills, we learned how to manage our time efficiently and how to split our work evenly to make sure everyone had a job. Lastly, we learned how to research important information to put on our app so people can use our app efficiently. These are some of the countless lessons we learned during today’s Hackathon!
What's next for Mental Health Tracking App
We’re working on personalizing features and improving in-app support. The future includes AI integration for real-time assessments and collaborations with mental health professionals for webinars and live sessions.
