What Inspiration
Mental health awareness is extremely crucial today, especially for young individuals. We wanted to build a simple, accessible, and privacy-focused tool that helps people track their daily mood, maintain diary entries, and monitor their mental well-being effortlessly.
What it does
Our Mental Health Tracker is a fully responsive web application that allows users to:
- Log and track their daily mood changes.
- Write personal diary entries to express their thoughts.
- View a progress counter to stay consistent with self-care habits.
How we built it
We built this project using standard web technologies integrated into a clean, single-page architecture:
- HTML5 for page structure.
- CSS3 for modern, responsive UI styling.
- JavaScript for dynamic mood logging and interactive features.
- Hosted and deployed live via Vercel with continuous deployment from GitHub.
Challenges we ran into
Building a complete interactive web application directly from a mobile workflow required careful code structuring. We ensured all features, styling, and JavaScript logic functioned seamlessly within a single index file without external dependencies.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Created a fully functional, mobile-responsive web application.
- Successfully deployed a clean and user-friendly interface.
- Developed an intuitive tracking mechanism to promote mental wellness habit building.
What we learned
We gained valuable hands-on experience in building single-page applications, managing repository workflows on GitHub, and deploying web applications on Vercel. we learned
