The idea behind creating a mental health chatbot comes from a desire to offer accessible, supportive, and immediate help to those who may be struggling. Mental health is something that affects so many people, yet there's often a stigma around seeking help, or simply not knowing where to turn. By using technology to provide a non-judgmental, safe space, a mental health chatbot can give users a tool to manage their feelings, track their moods, and even find guidance or resources at any time, especially when human support may not be readily available.

It's also inspired by the need to scale mental health support. Not everyone has access to therapy or counseling, and sometimes even talking to a friend might not feel like enough. Chatbots like these can bridge the gap and provide ongoing support, which is especially important in moments of distress or when someone feels isolated.
