Inspiration

Mental health challenges are on the rise, yet many individuals hesitate to seek support due to stigma, lack of accessibility, or trust issues. Our project, User-Psychiatrist Interaction Platform, aims to bridge this gap by providing a secure and user-friendly digital space where people can connect with mental health professionals and volunteers from anywhere, eliminating the need for physical presence.

What it does

The platform allows users and psychiatrists to register, enabling users to browse a list of available doctors and initiate chat or video call sessions. It doesn't need any physical presence and saves time. Psychiatrists offer expert guidance, while an additional volunteer support system allows empathetic listeners to engage without providing professional advice. This ensures that users always have someone to talk to, whether for medical guidance or emotional support. Volunteering is completely free, ensuring more people can contribute to mental health support. Also you can consult a doctor with a regional language. We're giving a opportunity to the students who are studying Psychology a internship via our platform with collaboration with college. Also they can earn money based on their reviews. We integrated a blockchain, so based on the review the cryptocoins will be added to their wallet.

How we built it

We consulted a psychiatrist about the platform, based on some instruction we worked on. We used React.js to make a clean and simple UI. **Solidity for blockchain technology** ensures secure and transparent reward distribution. Most tech stacks are used for the clearance and efficiency of a website. Analyzed a website with some real-time users and psychiatrists.

Challenges we ran into

Throughout development, we faced several challenges, such as ensuring secure and private conversations, implementing a Blockchain-based incentive system, balancing volunteer support with professional guidance, and optimizing real-time communication performance. Despite these hurdles, we successfully integrated Blockchain rewards, built a secure and user-friendly mental health platform, and encouraged community-driven support through volunteer participation.

What we learned

What's next for Mental Health Healer's

  For future enhancements, we plan to integrate AI-based verification to authenticate doctors, ensuring credibility and reliability. With real-time communication, blockchain technology, and AI-driven verification, our platform creates a safe, inclusive, and rewarding space for mental health support, making help more accessible and efficient. We're planning to give psychiatry students an internship to be volunteers to gain some real-time experience.
