Inspiration

My own story is my inspiration. When I had a failure in studies, like failing in a subject, no idea of the future, and no support from parents, I faced mental trauma. Where I feel like talking with a person can feel happy and relaxed.

What it does

In such situations, we have given contact numbers for contacting some persons and ask them to explain the consequences it has in the future and also help them to identify their phase.

How we built it

Frontend: Responsive dashboard with HTML, CSS Grid, and Flexbox. Backend: Node.js for alerts and API handling. AI Simulation: Keyword-based classification: High risk, Medium risk, Safe. Tools: IBM Watson NLU, Tone Analyzer, ADK, IBM Cloud. Integration: Dynamic helplines and mental health resources.

Challenges we ran into

Protecting sensitive user data. Designing a clear, simple dashboard. Reducing false positives/negatives. Integrating multiple IBM services quickly.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Built a real-time mental health alert simulation. Integrated IBM Watson NLU and Tone Analyzer. Designed a responsive, user-friendly dashboard. Learned IBM ADK for AI orchestration.

What we learned

Using IBM Watson services and ADK. Building AI-driven text classification systems. Designing ethical, privacy-focused apps. Writing clear project documentation.

What's next for Mental Health Emergency Alert Network

Train AI models on larger datasets. Add voice recognition for calls. Build a mobile app for wider reach. Collaborate with mental health organizations.
