Mental Health Among College Campuses

  This is the home page of our website which shows data.

  The second page is the information page that beholds information to figure out if you have a mental health problem.

• 

  The third page is the survey page which is when the patient answers questions that are on the website before an appointment with the doctor.

• 

  The fourth page is the resources page which are all the resources on campus for UC Merced students.

• 

  The last page is the daily tasks page for when you do get diagnosed by a UC Merced doctor on the problem that you have.

Inspiration: Our inspiration was to find a method to help college students deal with stress from classes and outside life so we tried to link our project to the UC Merced health center.

What it does: Our project is basically an overview of what different kinds of mental disorders exist and a survey that would help doctors narrow down what mental disorder the patient/student is suffering with.

How I built it: We built it with HTML in order to create a webpage and then to alter the way the the webpage looked we used CSS and Javascript.

Challenges I ran into: We ran into a couple problems with making the webpage look presentable and how to embedded the survey so patients can actually use it and doctors can see what the patient is feeling.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of: We learned how to use HTML, CSS, and Javascript because before we didn't know where to start and started researching on which language is best to use with webpages so we decided on HTML.

What I learned: I learned how to use HTML, CSS, and Javascript in order to create a new webpage from scratch.

What's next for Mental Health Among College Campuses: Being able to have on demand electronic access of resources for students who don't have time to schedule an appointment with their doctor in order to check up on their mental health.
