Mental health is often misunderstood or ignored due to stigma, lack of awareness, and limited access to timely support. We were inspired to create Mental Hack to normalize mental health conversations and empower individuals using technology. With the rise of Gen AI, we saw an opportunity to make mental health resources more accessible, personalized, and stigma-free.

What it does

Mental Hack is a Gen AI-powered platform designed to promote mental health awareness and support. It offers:

AI-driven mental wellness check-ins

Personalized emotional insights and coping strategies

Educational content tailored to user needs

Anonymized peer support forums

Emergency resource recommendations

How we built it

We used generative AI models (like GPT-4o) for natural language processing and emotional analysis. The frontend was built with React, and the backend uses Node.js and Python for AI integration. We incorporated a secure database to manage user interactions anonymously and focused on a simple, friendly UX to make users feel safe and supported.
