MenoPrep

Inspiration

The inspiration stems from being a woman and interacting with women and girls around me on a daily basis. A need was felt for women to have a reliable and personal tech-buddy, to help them navigate the stresses and joys of being a woman.

What it does

The app allows users to journal about their day, with emphasis on menstrual cycles and menopause. Once entered, text generators generate feel-good recipes and recommends fun and calming activities to the user to improve their mood. An image generator generates an image that depicts the user and their mood based on the journal entry, just so that the user can relate and have a laugh! Finally, a chatbot allows for the user to ask questions and receive advice or suggestion.

How we built it

The app was built using PartyRock's awesome interface and widgets like text generator, image generator and chatbot!

Challenges we ran into

Deciding what features to include and to ensure the ease of use of the application were some challenges

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The app turned out as expected and was a wonderful experience to work on.

What we learned

The learning experience provided valuable insight into Generative AI and how Amazon leverages it to create awesome platforms like PartyRock.

What's next for MenoPrep

Probably adding more features and increasing it ease of use.
